Hi! My name is Mrs. Ashley Darling.  I am so excited to be the librarian at Peacock Middle School! I have been teaching in Itasca District 10 since 2018. I completed my bachelor’s degree in elementary education with a Middle Level Minor from Elmhurst College. I have also completed my masters degree in Teacher Leadership from University of Phoenix. I am currently continuing my education through Illinois State University and pursuing an endorsement in School Library Sciences. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, baking and going on walks with my family. It is my goal to provide a library space that encourages students to work collaboratively and explore individual interests. In addition, it it my hope that the space encourages a love of reading.
