Mrs. Stafford- Student Support Coordinator

I am honored and grateful to have been serving the students of Itasca and the District 10 community for the last 8 years, and I could not be more excited to begin my 9th year supporting our students and community as a Student Support Coordinator. The Itasca community has shown me an overwhelming amount of support to learn and grow as a middle school educator teaching both ELA and Science. Currently, I am pursuing my master’s degree in Educational Leadership through Aurora University. I have been privileged to teach in District 10, and I enjoy helping students solve complex issues with unique solutions in the classroom, as well as socially-emotionally. My goal is to provide students with a variety of tools to help them accomplish their goals. I always lead with my heart to offer kindness and grace for students to feel comfortable and confident at school. I look forward to continuing to build strong relationships with students and their families, to ensure that school is a place where children can thrive and grow their abilities. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our children. As a mom, I always think about what I would want for my own children, and I work tirelessly to deliver that and support our students to be successful.
