Welcome to the new school year! My name is Lisa Hohe, and I am so excited to be teaching 6th Grade Social Studies! I will also serve as the team leader for the 6th grade team. This is my 2nd year teaching in Itasca District 10, but I have 20 years of classroom experience. I completed my bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Butler University. I have also completed my masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University. I live in Wheaton and enjoy spending time with my family.  My daughter and son both attend the University of Illinois, and my youngest son will be attending Illinois State University starting this fall. Outside of school, you will find me running, reading, and hanging out with my extended family and friends. My classroom is a place where students feel welcomed, work together, and challenge themselves. It is a place to learn, make mistakes, and have fun!
