Welcome to 8th grade math!

Hi! My name is Kathy Plonski .  I am so excited to be teaching 8th grade math! I have been teaching in Itasca District 10 since 2018. I completed my bachelor’s degree in secondary education in mathematics from Roosevelt University. Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, playing sports, and spending time with my family.  An interesting fact about me is that I am fluent in Polish. It is my goal to provide a learning environment to every child that is welcoming, collaborative, challenging, and provides a safe space to grow, learn, and make mistakes. I am so excited to be your child’s teacher and to help them grow academically and personally this school year!
