Mrs. Rathje

Hi! My name is Alicia Rathje, the 8th grade Resource Teacher and Team Leader. I am so excited to be co-teaching in 8th grade Math and ELA this year! I have been teaching in Itasca District 10 since 2015. I completed my bachelor’s degree in History Education from Illinois State University. I have also completed my masters degree in Special Education from Northeastern Illinois University. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two young boys, reading, hiking, traveling and gardening. It is my goal to provide a learning environment to every child that is welcoming, collaborative, challenging, and provides a safe space to grow, learn, and make mistakes. I am so excited to be your child’s teacher and to help them grow academically and personally this school year!
