Mrs. Rathje

Hi! My name is Alicia Rathje, the 7th grade Resource Teacher and Team Leader. I am so excited to be co-teaching in 7th grade Math and ELA this year! I have been teaching in Itasca District 10 since 2015 and overall for 16 years. I completed my bachelor’s degree in History Education from Illinois State University and my masters degree in Special Education from Northeastern Illinois University. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two young boys, reading, hiking, traveling and gardening. It is my goal to provide a learning environment that is welcoming, collaborative and challenging. I believe in providing a safe space to grow, learn, and make mistakes. I am so excited to help your child grow academically and personally this school year!
