Hello! My name is Mrs. Cindy Saunders. I have been a special education teacher for many years and have taught in Itasca District 10 since 2019. I received my elementary education degree from Northern Illinois University. I also completed my masters degree in special education from Northeastern Illinois University. I have many hours of education beyond my master’s degree and continue to pursue professional development courses related to my area of specialty. I spend my time outside of school baking, taking long walks with my dog, and attending my son and daughter’s lacrosse, hockey, and volleyball games. I look forward to providing all students with the academic and personal tools necessary to be successful and happy individuals. I am excited to be part of your child’s journey this school year!
